I am\u00a0taking a while to get this new blog up and running – my brain struggles with all the techie stuff. So please feel free to contact me to point out errors or suggest improvements. I appreciate all the help I can get.<\/p>\n

As June is my Birthday month, and this year its a big one, I plan to bring you a series of Birthday cards using some of the new items in the new catalogue and also using some of the\u00a0sets that have carried over.<\/p>\n

Anyway I wanted to show you this card I came up with the other day when it was raining and grey outside. I wanted something to brighten my day up so spent my time crafting in bright colours.<\/p>\n

The base card is in basic black and is 15cm x 15cm once folded. I added a layer of whisper white stamped with basic black using my very favourite touches of texture stamp set. The squares of whisper white are 5cm and are stamped using the texture background stamp in the colour that they are matted on to.<\/p>\n

\"\"\u00a0The colours I have used for the 5.4 cm square mats are Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo, Pacific Point and Crushed Curry.<\/p>\n

The Greeting is from the beautiful Label Me Pretty stamp set and punched out with the Pretty Label Punch. I have punched out in Pumpkin Pie and cut that in half to make a backing for my greeting. I have then adhered that with dimensionals.<\/p>\n

I hope you agree this is very simple to make yet very effective.<\/p>\n
