Touches of Ink Bloghop May 2024 with Stampin’ Up! Thoughtful Wishes Bundle

Welcome to my blog – I’m glad to have you here.

I’m hopping today with Touches of Ink – a lovely group of demonstrators. My bundle today is Thoughful Wishes from the new Annual Catalogue. It has everything you need to make beautiful projects.

I really enjoyed making this card

On a Basic White card base I stamped randomly with the little splatter stamp in Petunia Pop and Wild Wheat.

I die cut the large flourish from a scrap of Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper and stuck this over the splatter stamping

I stamped the large leaves with pebbled path on Basic White and coloured with light Wild Wheat and light Granny Apple Green Blends

I die cut this and 2 of the little flower dies

I also die cut the banner from Stylish Shapes , stamped the sentiment on the right of this.

I stuck the leaves on the left of the banner and stuck this to the card with dimensionals

I coloured the little flowers with Petunia Pop and Granny Apple Green Blends and tucked them in amongst the leaves

I painted wink of stella on the leaves then splattered the whole card with wink of stella.

I finished the card with a few 2024 – 2026 In Colour Shimmer Gems

InspireInk Blog Hop April 2024 – Theme: Floral

Happy Saturday! welcome to another Inspire Ink Blog Hop. This month’s theme is Floral so I’ve made a simple stamping floral card.

I am giving you a sneak peek at a new stamp set from the 2024 annual Catalogue which will launch to customers on 1st of May.

The stamp set is called Thoughtful wishes and i particularly like the thistle image. I used Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green Stamp Write Markers to colour the stamp and lightly blended the new colour summer splash. and a blending brush. the moon was masked with a punched post it note.

InspireInk Blog Hop March 2024 – Theme: Easter

Happy Saturday! welcome to another Inspire Ink Blog Hop. This month’s theme is Easter so I’ve made an Easter card.

I’ve totally fallen in love with the Simply Zinnias suite from our Online Exclusives.

I stamped part of the large image with memento toxedo black on to a die cut circle from Everyday Details Dies. I coloured with blends.

Touches of Ink Bloghop March 2024 with Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnias Bundle

Welcome to my blog – I’m glad to have you here.

I’m hopping today with Touches of Ink – a lovely group of demonstrators. My bundle today is Simply Zinnias from the Online Exclusives. It has everything you need to make fun, colourful floral projects.

I applied Memento Tuxedo Black ink to the Simply Zinnias embossing folder before adding a square of Basic White cardstock and running it through the cut and embossing machine. I trimmed off a panel for the first card. Then, I brushed some Lemon Lime Twist ink over the remaining strip and used it for the second card. I adhered it over a layer of Basic White cardstock onto which I had previously stamped some zinnias.

InspireInk Blog Hop February 2024 – Theme: Birthday

Happy Saturday! welcome to another Inspire Ink Blog Hop. This month’s theme is Birthday so I’ve made a Birthday card. It is almost monochrome.

For this card I have used a stamp set from Sale A Bration – Detailed Dogwood. This stamp set is so beautiful that i decided to make a one layer, #simplestamping card. I have used Pecan Pie on basic white. The detail in the stamps is incredible.

Happy Saturday! welcome to another Inspire Ink Blog Hop. This month’s theme is Festive so I’ve made a Christmas card.

I love square cards and I love white on white with a touch of Gold.

The card base is 14.5 cm x 14.5 cm.

A 14 cm square of Basic White has been embossed with Snowflake Sky 3D

I added Basic White foliage from Magical Meadow Dies, letters cut from distressed gold with A la mode Alphabet Dies, the Gold bow is from the online exclusive Gold and Silver Trim combo pack and the berries are from Metallic Enamel Effects Basics.

I needed to make a wedding card to send to a friend in Denmark. I wanted to keep it clean and simple so I followed the sketch almost literally.

The ‘celebrate’ stamp is from circle sayings stamp set and the Mr & Mrs stamp is from the online exclusive Heartfelt Hexagon set. The Mr & Mrs stamp could be partially inked to stamp Mr & Mr or Mrs & Mrs if required.

InspireInk Blog Hop September 2023 – Color Challenge! Pumpkin Pie, Gorgeous Grape and Basic Black

Happy Saturday! welcome to another Inspire Ink Blog Hop. This month’s theme is a colour challenge. The colours are Pumpkin Pie, Gorgeous Grape and Basic Black.

This colour palette says Halloween to me but I don’t really do Halloween now. So I put my thinking cap on!

This is my favourite type of card to make – ink blending and black sillhouette stamping or die cuts. I love trees so making this card made me happy. I used the Forever Forest bundle.

When I was finished I was about to photograph it but i could hear my Dad’s voice saying ‘ there’s bears in them thar hills’ so of course I pulled out my Beary Cute punch and sneeked in a Black Bear for a fun twist. A little touch of wink of stella gave him a nose and an eye sparkling in the moonlight. I didn’t film this but I have many videos on my You Tube channel showing this style of card.
