Sunday Suite – Painted with Love Suite

I’ve been desperate to use this suite but have held back until now. One of the ladies in my team asked me to do a Valentine’s theme this week – so here’s what i have come up with. This week in my classes we will be using this Suite to make a card and a treat box. I think every one will love this Designer Series Paper with its beautiful gold foiling it is so lush. The most time will be spent choosing which paper they want on their boxes.

to make the black box using the full size of the die cut the Designer Series Paper is 7.2cm x 12cm

in the smaller rich razzle berry box i cut the die cuts down to 9.5cm and the panels of Designer Series Paper to 7.2cm x 9.1cm

Pootles Sale-A-Bration Blog Hop!

What a pretty set this is and it was free!

I stamped the lavender 3 times to form a large bouquet – it looked a bit odd where all the stems crossed but by adding the gorgeous gingham bow it looks fab.

I used the back ground stamp first with wisteria then the detailed outline stamp with basic gray.

the leaves were coloured with the old olive blends and i went over the flowers with wink of stella to give it a bit of subtle shimmer.

The sentiment is from the peacock set which is also free!

I’m really pleased with this card and i hope you like it too.

Sparkle Shimmer and Shine! – InspireInk-blog-hop – Cozy Cottage in the Snow

I’m so happy to have joined this lovely group of talented crafters for a whole year of monthly planned bloghops! A different theme every month using current Stampin’ Up products and the January theme is Sparkle, Shimmer and Shine. The most time was taken up deciding what products to work with as there are so many gorgeous things in both current catalogues. I was really excited when i saw the theme for this hop but i couldn’t decide what i was going to do. Inspiration came when several inches of snow fell at the beginning of the week! My world was suddenly sparkly, shimmery and shiny! I had been planning to show this hostess set in a spring setting, but i realised I can do it for all seasons! This is my winter version.

Panda on a motorcycle!- Sale A Bration – free stamp set

Oh what fun i had making this card! I live in Central Scotland just a few miles from Edinburgh Zoo where we have some famous pandas. I saw this stamp set and had this vision of pandas on the run! This one is making his escape on a motorcycle – racing through the snow covered forest. Just a bit of fun inking and stamping on an embossing folder.

Sunday Suite – Myths and Magic – Unicorn

I have been so looking forward to featuring this suite – I have some lovely projects to share this week. I hope you are enjoying this series as much as i am. I really like sticking with one suite each week. The Designer Series Paper is wonderful in this suite, it is really sturdy and so shimmery. My grandchildren have both expressed an interest and Amy aged 4 has made a picture frame featuring Unicorns from this stamp set and Brusho’s which also feature in the Spring Summer Catalogue.

To make the card you will need:

Basic Gray card – 1 sheet cut in half long ways and folded in half

Bermuda Bay – 14.4cm x 5.4cm and 8.4cm x 7.4cm

DSP 14cm x 5cm and 8cm x 7cm

scrap of Bermuda Bay and Scrap of Whisper White.

Petal Passion Card and Nails

Nikki, one of the ladies in my team, is also a Jamberry Rep. She helped me to apply these wraps as I have never tried them before. I was immediately inspired to make this card for her and I’m really please with it. This one uses melon mambo and peekaboo peach

Although it looks amazing it is very simple to make.
