Classic Garage Designer Series Paper 17th Birthday Card

It was my youngest nephew’s 17th Birthday this week. He wants driving lessons as most 17 year olds do. So money and a driving themed car were appropriate. The card is 6 x 6inch square and the designer series paper is matted and layered onto basic black card plus some diecutting and punching and trinkets to finish off. He should have received it by now and I hope he liked it.

Blog Swappers Blog Share May 2019

Today I am doing something a little different. I am not sharing any of my projects with you, instead I have joined a lovely group of demonstrators to do a monthly blog share. So in this blog I am sharing with you their projects that I admire. I have found it very hard to choose just one project from each of these very talented ladies. Please have a look at their blogs and leave them some encouraging comments.

The first project I’m sharing with you is this one by Karen Varley of Donemark Papercrafts

How pretty is this card? This is a lovely set which won’t be in the new catalogue.

The second project is this one from Linda Parker of  Papercraft with Crafty

Another set we have to say goodbye to. This is such a handy set for male cards. I love the colour combination Linda has chosen.

Next we have a project from Christine Bettany of Christinescrafting

This is a very delicate card with beautiful images.

Finally today I’m sharing a project from Louise Dwyer of Salterfenpapercrafts

I too love cactus and this makes me think of holidays in the sun!

I have just realised I have chosen four projects made with stamp sets I don’t own – if I want to have them I better get a shifty on as none of them are carrying over to the next catalogue! I hope you like my selections as much as I do, I really enjoyed having a look around the ladies’ blogs to choose which projects to share.

Simple card with Tropical Chic

This is a really simple card to make – I love the clean look of it – so pretty.

I have made a video tutorial showing the method for this card – in the video I made these three cards

Beautiful Bouquet Card inspired by Forget me nots

My two favourite hobbies are photography and card making. Today’s card was inspired by this photograph I took this week with my phone on my way to work!

For the card I have done some stamping with Beautiful Bouquet with Pear Pizzazz and Balmy Blue. I added some die cuts from Bouquet Bunch Die set and some metallic pearls to embellish.

Animal Outing birthday card for my grandson in Australia.

It’s my youngest Grandson’s first Birthday today. Time passes so quickly. As he lives in australia I just had to use Animal outing as I did when i made his birth congratulations card when he first arrived!

While browsing Pinterest I saw a card made by Bronwyn Eastley of addINKtive designs who is actually an Australian Demonstrator. I have cased her card but worked out my own measurements.

I dont have the dies that go with this set so I fussy cut my stamped images and some from the Designer Series Paper. I think I have made a fun card for a One year old.

Although both the stampset and the die set are carrying over to the next catalogue they will not be available as a bundle with 10% off the combined price. The bundle is available until 31/05/2019 but the Designer Series Paper is not carrying over so stock up now.
