Simple Sketch Card for InspireInk Blog Hop June 2019 with Stampin’ Up! new In Colours

InspireInk Bloghop has come round again! It’s the end of June and half way through another year – I must be getting old!

This month the challenge is a sketch challenge. I haven’t done many sketch challenges but I enjoyed this one. I decided to showcase this years In colours with Woven Threads Designer Series Paper. When I saw this paper at OnStage I was completely underwhelmed. I did a papershare with Team JazzleDazzle so got some of this in my share and I am in love with the colours and the texture. For my sentiment I have used Delightful Day Stamp set. I won this stamp set at OnStage in prize patrol and i think it is truely delightful. The beautiful linen ribbon is from Magnolia Lane Combo Pack

I made the one above first and then filmed a video of making the one below. Please come back tomorrow for the video but for the moment please have a hop around our bloghop and see what the other ladies have done with this sketch. There will be some fab ideas and inspiration for your own crafting.

Pootlers Blog Hop Stamp your own Designer Series Paper with Daisy Lane and floral Essence stamp sets

Here we are with another Pootlers New Catalogue Blog Hop. This new annual catalogue is amazing, I actually love nearly every set that is in it! The plan for this blog hop is to feature new products. So in this project I have used two new stamp sets Daisy Lane and Perennial Essence and my colour choice is inspired by a wee lunch bag that I bought this week. I have used basic gray, lovely lipstick, old olive and coastal cabana on a full A4 sheet Very Vanilla card. I made it into a gift bag using the whole sheet. I forgot to say the sentiment is from the Delightful Day stamp set which I won at OnStage!

Come back tomorrow for a method video. For the moment please have a wee hop around all the projects from my lovely fellow bloggers. I know they will have lots of amazing inspiration for you.

Happy Birthday to me with Good Morning Magnolia – Heat Emboss Resist Technique using Craft whisper white ink

Today is my birthday so I thought I would share a birthday card that I made recently. Good Morning Magnolia is becoming a real favourite already. i’m not the first to use this technique with this stamp I have seen several other examples on social media.

First I stamped with versamark and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. The embossing is water resistant so using the aqua painter with the craft white ink I first painted the petals white and then blended in some rococo rose and so saffron while the white was still wet. I think this is so pretty and it’s also quite addictive!

So why don’t you give this a go? Please share what you do on social media and tag me in it or use the hashtag #happybirthdayjanice

Good Morning Magnolia coloured with blends and embossed with Stampin’ Up! subtles folder.

I love this style of card where the cut out piece is coloured and raised. I used the nesting rectangle stitched dies to cut out the rectangle – these dies are fabulous as they leave a stitched edge look in the piece that is left behind as well as the piec that is cut out. It is a great look. Once I coloured the rectangle i cut out I ran it through my bigshot in the subtle embossing folder which gives a linen liike finish.

Blog Swappers Monthly Project Share June 2019

This post is a bit different to my usual blog posts. Today I am taking part in a monthly Blog Swap where I pick projects by my fellow swappers to share with you. I hope you like my choices and click onto their blogs to read about the projects and to see their other wonderful makes.

What a fabulous day to be doing our project swap – it’s the day that THE ANNUAL CATALOGUE goes live! I’ve tried to choose projects that have used products that are in the new catalogue.

This gorgeous gift bag is by Tina of tinaskreativebox.de.
Tina has used the Come Sail Away Suite to great effect here – this suite will be my next purchase.

In this lovely card Louise Has used Beautiful Promenade and Share what you love. I don’t have the Beautiful promenade suite yet but Louise has now made me realise I need to buy it. I love the colours she has chosen.

Here is a great card from Karen of Donemark Papercrafts. Karen has used the new Daisy Lane stamp set for this beautiful card. The little fluffy yellow flower centres are so much fun.

Leah has chosen A Good Man stamp set here – it has such lovely images and she has backed it with Designer Series Paper from the Sail Away Suite

My last but not least project is from Jannie – she has used the giraffe from animal outing and the everyday label punch to make this cute little tag to match the chocolate bar.

I hope you have enjoyed my selections from my fellow demonstrator blogs and that they will inspire your crafting.
