InspireInk Blog Hop September 2019 – a Christmas Card with Stampin’ Up!

Here I am hopping with the InspireInk girls again and this month’s challenge is a Tic Tac Toe. So my project had to include 3 of the aspects from the square but they had to be 3 in a row – I chose Balmy Blue, Glimmer Card and Georgeous Grape and I have used Feels like Frost suite.

This is really #simplestamping with no real fuss.

The base card is half a sheet of Balmy Blue and a layer of Georgeous Grape 10.1cm x 14.4cm and a layer of whisper white 14cm x 9.7cm.

I coloured the berries using wink of stella and balmy blue ink. I used the Frosted Frames Dies to cut the snowflakes and sprig with glimmer card.

Home Decor SU Style Blog Hop September 2019

Welcome to our Home Decor S U Style Blog Hop for September 2019! I hope you enjoy our designers choice hop.

When I saw the Feels Like Frost Designer Series Paper I knew it needed to be framed! I have used a whole sheet and embellished it a bit with some stamping and heat embossing then mat and layered it with Night of Navy and Seaside Spray onto a piece of the See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper. I also added a few snowflakes cut with Frosted Frames in Sparkle Glimmer Paper. Really simple but I love it in the white frame.

Blog Swappers Monthly Project Share September 2019

Oh my Goodness – how quick are the months sailing by? Here we are with September’s Project Share. I am sharing with you projects I admire that my fellows have done. I had a wee browse around their blogs to choose something to share with you. Please have a wee look at their blogs (click on the pictures to be transported to the project blog) and leave them some encouraging comments.

First up I want to show you Tina’s gorgeous project of gift bag and 2 cards with the colour family Designer Series Paper and Varied Vases Stamp Set and punch. I love the way she has made the two cards using all the bits she has stamped and punched out. Click on the picture to go to Tina’s blog for further details including the measurements.

How perfect is this fancy fold card by Karen?  This is a twisted easel card using the Sailing Home Suite. I haven’t ever used this fold so watch this space! Click on the picture below to get to Karen’s blog where she has all the instructions on how to make this lovely project including a video tutorial.

The third project I want to show you is this beautiful card made by Louise of Salterfen Papercrafts. Louise has used two of my favourite stamp sets here Fanciful Fragrance and Very Versailles, I love the monochrome stamping that Louise has used here. Click on the picture to go to Louise’s post for all the details.

The fourth project is from Jannie – how cute is this cow from the Over the Moon stamp set? She has used the beautiful paper from Bird Ballad Suite – which is in the Deisigner Series Paper offer this month!
