InspireInk Blog Hop May 2020 – A Sketch challenge with Botanical Prints Product Medley#stampinup

Thank you so much for dropping in today. Here I am hopping with the InspireInk girls again and this month it’s a sketch challenge. This is the sketch we had to work with.

So I decided to make a card using the remains of my Botanical Prints Product Medley.

I think I remained true to the sketch using what I had left from the Botanical Prints Product Medley. For the sentiment I used one from the Stampin’ Up! Covid give back PDF

See below for further details of that.

Please make a cuppa and have a look at the projects from my fellow demonstrators I know they will be full of great ideas. I hope we have inspired you to get crafting too.

You are invited to the Inlinkz link party!

I run small classes in my home. At these classes you will learn different techniques, be supplied with all resources and have full use of my equipment. You will make beautiful cards, gift boxes, gift bags, matching tags and other projects. If you are interested in one or all these activities then ask me about my classes.
I also run product-based classes with will include you taking home with you a stamp set, card kit, punch etc, whatever the class is featuring. The benefits of a product based class is that you will have instructions to complete projects with the product, use my resources that go with the product, and my advice of how to get the most out of the product.
Classes last 2 hours and price vary with the activity we are doing.
Basic class will be £10 – £15
Product based class is price of product plus a class fee.
Classes run in the day and evenings to suit participants.

Nicky’s Large Card Folio #stampinup

So I have a craft sharing group on Facebook and a couple of weeks ago one of my crafting friends posted a these pictures of a card folio she had made for a relative.

I decided to give it a go and there is a video of me doing just that further down this post. Nicky kindly gave me her measurements and permission to do a tutorial for you all. The measurements are further down this post.

I found when I moved the folio that the cards fell out so I made these 1 inch wide straps to keep them in. I have used neodymium magnets to keep them closed and also on the flap.

A Wee Gift Box using scraps of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper #stampinup

I made this gift box to match a card I made and to use up some Bird Ballad designer series paper which is retiring at the end of this month.

scored on the long side at 1.5 inches, 5 inches and 6.5 inches

scored on the short side at 1.5 inches, 3 inches, 4.5 inches and 6 inches

4 panels of Designer Series Paper 1 3/8 ths x 3 3/8ths and 1 square 1 3/8ths x 1 3/8ths inch.
