Welcome to the April 2021 Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop!
Our lovely Sara has set the theme this month ‘Scrap It in the Round’. With no further guidance I had no idea where I might go with this theme. I’m still very new to scrapbooking but I’m always up for a challenge. I had a chat with my friend Tammy who is an experienced scrapper who showed me some of her work and that started the ideas sparking!
I have started with a blank 12 x 12 inch sheet and set about stamping in a circular wreath style with Back to Back Blooms and Circle Celebration Stamp Sets. The circle idea set me thinking of our world and how my children and their families live at opposite sides of the world. I had to steal photographs of my grandchildren from their parent’s social media as I haven’t been able to be with them to take my own due to the pandemic. Last week I was finally able to visit our local garden centre and loved seeing and photographing these amazing anemones in the sun!
Basically some of the big joys in my life are my children and granchildren, stamping and photographing flowers so this page brought me great joy and I hope it meets the brief.

The floral and family photos together are so lovely! What a great idea for the scrap page!! Gorgeous flower images and photos.
Your paged turned out so special. I too have a child/grandchild in another country that I am not able to visit. I find sharing photos and scrapbooking them helps to be part of their life. Great job!
Oh Janice this is gorgeous! I just love the colours you have used and that stamp set was not on my list to get until now..had better put it on my next order now!! Great stamp set for scrapbooking! I loved our catch up and cant wait to catch up again when you come visit New Zealand again!
I love the details of the extra stamping you did over the top of the circles, and bringing in the anemones into the page to match with your fab colours! I have not looked at this stamp set before…thanks for bringing it to my attention! fab page!! Some wonderful memories of your family to treasure.
