Spring/Summer Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration 2018

How exciting – the new Spring/Summer Catalogue 2018 goes live on Wednesday 3rd January. I have posted out a catalogue and Sale-A-Bration Catalogue to everyone who purchased from me in the last 12 months. They should be dropping through your letterboxes very soon. If you would like me to post one out to you free of charge (within UK) get in touch and i will get one to you asap.

As a demonstrator I have been able to buy products early so that i can prepare ideas and projects for tutorials and classes.

During Sale-A-Bration you can choose a free product from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure for every multiple of £45.00 you spend. a brilliant time to increase your crafting stash!

Sale-A-Bration is an amazing time to join my team – ask me why.

During the 13 weeks of Sale-A-Bration I am going to cover a suite each week from the Spring/Summer catalogue and the Annual catalogue. Each week will start on a Sunday with ‘Sunday Suite’

Tomorrow we are starting with the Tutti Frutti Suite and I have included a little treat pouch with the catalogues made with the envelope punch board and the Tutti Frutti Suite.

Watch the video below for an introduction to the catalogue and a wee tutorial of the sweet treat pouches

It’s Always Wine O’Clock somewhere

Half Full Stamp Set

Following on from last weeks blogs this card was designed while I was on my Stampin’ Up weekend in Birmingham. On the Sunday I attended a team day organised by my Team leader’s team leader and another team leader. As a crafting challenge Sam very generously gave everyone a ‘Half Full’ stamp set along with cardstock, fine tip glue pen and a blender pen. each table had 4 colours of ink and a black tuxedo memento pad. We had over an hour to be creative but I only made this one card as I was too busy blethering with old and new friends! The glue pen is used to give a glossy finish. check out the video tutorial below to see this technique and to hear about my  Free Give Away.

Tree Ornament for my team swap.

On Sunday 12th November I joined 54 other demonstrators in Solihull for a team retreat day. What fun we had – we had some business training but a large part of the day was chatting and crafting and swapping.

I designed this tree decoration and made 55 of them to swap with everyone.

I arrived at this idea when making this card so I have included the video tutorial for the tartan wreath card so that you can see how the ornament was constructed.

Snowflake Card – Christmas Card Series 2017

Pretty card in pastel colours stamped with the snowflake stamps from Colorful Seasons and the sentiment is from the Labels to Love set. The video below will show you how the card was made. It was nice to have a change from the traditional Christmas Colours.

The card base is 10.5 cm x 14.9cm and the layer is 9.5cm x 13.8cm.

This is day 3 of my series and if you have made 6 of each you will now have 18 cards make. I feel like I’m in control of this job now. I am in a Christmas Card swap group and I had to send out 4 cards to the people in my swap group, so I did 4 of these for that.

Peace on Earth – Christmas Card – Quick and Easy

This is a very simple straight forward card to make. The card base is 14.9cm squared and the layers in alternate colours are 14.4cm squared and 14cm squared, the designer series paper is 13.6cm squared. These are layered up using fast fuse or multi purpose glue, adding the ribbon before adhering to the card base. The size of the topper depends on which sentiment you use. I think you will agree this is a very classy card.

Wee Robin

North wind will blow and we shall have Snow and what will poor Robin do then? Another quick and easy card featuring Stampin’ Up new alcohol pens. I had such fun making this card. The wee bird is so sweet, I love the whole stamp set and I adore the new alcohol pens. They really do blend very easily, I will be using them often. It is so satisfying to stamp an image and then colour it in yourself. The sentiment is from the Hearts Come Home stamp set which is an adorable set.  I have kept this card clean and simple so it is easy to make a batch of them in one go. I generally make 10 or 20 of each card in one go.

For each card you will need

a card base in cherry cobbler – 14.9cm x 10.5cm

whisper white 3 pieces

14.4cm x10.1cm

6.5cm x 6.5cm

3cm x 9cm

Pootles Design Team – Brightly Lit Christmas – Week 4

Gosh here we are towards the end of October already – what fun this stamp set has been! I hope you have enjoyed all the projects from this months design team. I am really impressed with the designs my colleagues have made with the set.

My card this week reflects a little of my sense of humour I think.

Whisper White card blank 14.9cm x 10.5cm

Gold Foil 14.4cm x 10.1cm

DSP 14cm x 9.7cm

I stamped the lamp post onto the Designer Series Paper with versamark and heat embossed with the Gold embossing powder. I then cut out the lamp panels and stuck a small scrap of daffodil yellow behind. I made the lamp sparkle with wink of stella. I layered these using fast fuse. The sentiment is stamped onto a scrap of whisper white and fussy cut. The chosen lady from beautiful you is also stamped with memento black onto a piece of whisper white, coloured with water colour pencils and blended with wink of stella then fussy cut. They are both adhered with multi purpose glue. The star embellishment is stuck on with a glue dot and then I made a trail shape with multi purpose glue and sprinkled the sequins over the glue.

Pootles Design Team – Brightly Lit Christmas – Week 3

How quickly are the weeks IMG_3050going? I am so pleased to bring you my week 3 project for Pootles Design Team October 2017.

Along with the Brightly Lit Christmas Stamp Set I have used Christmas around the World Designer Series Paper.
This is a very simple card to make but I think you will agree it is very colourful and the paper coordinates well with the card. The pattern does remind me of tartan and Scotland where I live but the wooden soldiers suggest German made toys from childhood (I’m very old, I know).

Don’t forget that the offer is still on for Designer Series Paper – Buy 3 packs get another free! Check out the offer on  my online shop
